What Is Needed

Here is a suggested list of items to donate to the Longmont Turkey Turnout for our beneficiaries.  Please email or text us if you have any questions about what we will take for donations.

• Canned tuna, chicken, other meats
• Peanut butter
• Pasta, Mac & Cheese, Rice
• Pasta Sauce
• Canned fruits (all types)
• Canned vegetables (all types_
• Canned soups, stews, chili
• Cereal, oat meal
• Granola bars, healthy snacks
• Baby food, formula, and baby cereals, treats

• FROZEN TURKEYS
• Potatoes, squash (fresh and canned)
• Canned vegetables, cranberry sauce
• Store-bought pies.  We cannot accept homemade pies
• Canned soup, gravy
• Stuffing mix
• Baking mixes, cooking oil
• Instant potatoes and potato mixes

• Toothpaste, toothbrushes
• Soap, deodorant
• Dish soap
• Laundry detergent
• Shampoo, conditioner, body wash
• BABY Diapers (not adult), especially size 4-6, wipes

• WINTER Jackets, Coats
• Hats
• Gloves
• Boots - Work boots, winter boots
• Hoodies, sweatshirts
• Denim jeans - Waist 30 - 36 most needed
• Blankets, Sleeping bags
• Thermals
• Socks, Underwear (new only)

*Sorry, we are NOT taking bicycles this year (2023)*

You may drop a gently worn bike at your local Longmont fire station though and it will be put back into use by Bicycle Longmont.

We CANNOT take appliances, furniture, pots and pans, utensils, tools, sports equipment, books, etc.  

*Dividing up clothing donations between kid sizes and adult sizes really helps our volunteers and makes our sorting go faster.  Thank You!
